Just about the only thing they "show" is the shield fight stuff, which doesn't matter at all, and the bad guys being bad which is pretty effective tbh (it's easy to tell who's bad because they're ginger)

faye's costume is not really accurate to the anime because you can't see most of her skin. spike's costume is just a suit which is fine. jet is the only one who doesn't really work irl
