They didn't come from behind me, and the driver looked a little shaken up, so I have to think he ran the red light bad and I somehow didn't see him when I turned. I mostly hit the save button so I could try to determine where he came from, but it didn't help.

I talked to Thinkware again to see if they would stipulate that the fact that my F800 stopped recording for ~1.5 seconds was proof of the extreme G forces of the impact. They did not/have not (yet?) but did acknowledge it shouldn't have stopped recording and sent me a new free one so that's kinda cool at least.

Got the Garmin Mini 2 and I'm super happy with it. Super small, no glitchy problems, app works really well. I'm going to buy two more for my other cars. It's tempting having a rear camera but I think this is good enough for the moment. I sincerely hope I never post any footage from it here

damnit   guy in a pickup made a u-turn out of the bus lay-by right in front of me. he fled the scene. The assumptions are (a) no license (b) no insurance (c) illegal alien (d) drunk or (e) all of the above added bonus : the dashcam which I purchased specifically for this car is safely at home in its box, waiting for me to get around to installing it  goodbye, old friend. Any airbags pop? What hit the passenger side windshield? Looks like more than just the hood contacting it but hard to tell. Passenger airbag hit it?

Looks like TND started the turn but paused and wasn't physically in front of the red-light runner until he stopped then completed the turn. Back seat driver says: Probably don't even start to turn if you think he might be running the red light. But I've totally started a turn on a 4 way stop even when I suspected the SUV coming down the icy hill full speed probably isn't going to make the stop sign. Yes, white truck was turning left. I have no idea how the other car rear ended him at that speed also turning left. I thought they were going to slide into the side of my car. A piece of plastic hit the rear passenger window. I came back by after school drop off and showed the officer's the video and they gave me a link to upload it. Both driver's left in ambulance's but seemed OK according to the officers.
