I worked tech support for Comcast around 2004-2008 around there. They are such a poo poo tier company. The place I worked at was responsible for some sweeping changes on what was allowed to be done to customers accounts though. Some lady called in and yelled at a guy non-stop so the name on her bill got changed to “Bitch Dog” and we very very quickly lost access to being able to update name changes on an account. Also when we found out our centre was closing the customer asked the guy I was working next too why my co-worker sounded sad and co-worker said it was because he was told he was losing his job. Turned out the call was being monitored by hiss boss and got immediately walked out the building. Then we all got a news flash to not mention to customers we were losing our job. Thanks for letting us know that in advance! It was real fun to field calls when people found out a Comcast tech murdered someone. I’ll try answer any questions about how Comcast is lovely (and I guess how our call centre for them was as well. We didn’t directly work for them)
