even if the NOLA central levees do not break, which I expect they won't, you still have:
- dozens of nearby areas completely devastated
- localized flash flooding
- water/sanitation services damaged
- power out for days/weeks leading into 105+ heat index

so... not good. I expect we'll start to see the true toll tomorrow.

i looked up the addresses in tweets shared in the thread, and it seems like the attics are just one floor off the ground. it's scary.
