If I had to guess it's to stimulate a line army musket rotation and give the shooter time to reload and look around while still having a firing position, but it looks goofy as hell. Wonder who thought that looked cool and said "ok we all need to learn to do this asap, even though it involves rotating someone down range of a live firearm while spinning in circles."

Bad poo poo still happens though, like when you hire Optex instead of the union, and the stage collapses and kills your drum technician It could be worse; the production company could have hired Crew One.

Could that guy do anything about it at that point or is he being an idiot and getting closer thinking he can pass it? I kept thinking that he should just turn and go perpendicular to the right but I have no idea if that actually works.

If your boat is small enough could you just use a big stick or something to hold yourself away from the huge ship?

It's very unsettling thinking about what might be just under the waterline.

It's a standup style ski, so it's harder to balance, especially with big waves like that, but nothing that couldn't be avoided if they turned. As soon as you kill the engine on one of those you are going in the water one way or another.

Ror posted:Could that guy do anything about it at that point or is he being an idiot and getting closer thinking he can pass it? There are many problems with that that genius is doing. The first problem is being in the same space as large ships in the first place. Large ships can not see you, neither visually nor on radar. They can not stop. But they travel along predictable routes, so if you are in a tiny dinky ship, you don't go close. If you get this close to a ship, you have already hosed up. Your next objective is to get at least 200m clearance because those things have heavy turbulence behind them and you don't want to be anywhere close. It will also suck you in towards the hull when you are too close and it will likely be covered in barnacles that will flay you to the bone. Do not get close to large ships, just don't.

I would only add that it might be a good idea to apply some meat tenderizer and seasonings to your skin beforehand

It should have been in Hard Hat Mack E: quote:In late 1983, California state senator Dan McCorquodale, offended by portrayal of OSHA as a villain in the game, sent a complaint letter to an Emporium-Capwell store in Santa Clara, California, accusing the game of being "anti-worker" and of skewing the public perception of the federal government. Whenever I see a video like this, I'm reminded of my short stint in Walmart electronics, where customers would by a 70in tv, try to fit it in a 4 door sedan and then act surprised that it wouldn't go in. Had to unbox more than 1 tv in the parking lot to get it to fit. You can rent a truck for $20 from Home Depot people. https://va.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_qylymfhS3w1w5pr9j.mp4

Navigating is usually pretty chill since everyone has enough time to plan ahead, but then you get chucklefucks like this guy making it stressful.

Honestly, you'd be better off eating the seasonings and maybe chasing them down with a sauce of some kind (worchestershire is my preference).
