Interesting that the PPC ranks lower than the CPC and Liberals. If true, lot of people not paying attention. Now this... this is going places!

I know if you asked me who I would never vote for, the first answer would be "Conservatives" with PPC being an immediate second place. Probably followed by the Green party, but that's just because I don't support dumpster fires.

I don’t think I’ve ever been canvassed by a federal political party. I assume because my riding always votes Tory at 70% or some poo poo.

I got canvassed by a Liberal last night. They asked, "Do you feel like the Liberal party is headed in the right direction?" I just said, "N.. no..." and then since my infant daughter was still awake and screaming in the room behind me, I quickly added that my politics are quite a bit further to the left of the Liberal party. She said okay and left.

Canada is a business that offers competitive wages, lots of benefits, and yearly bonuses, for full time employees. Too bad everyone gets hired on as part-time.

They literally just throw people on phones and hand them scripts with absolutely no detail to them whatsoever, so if you do talk to someone who knows what they're talking about it means they did research on their own time. When we both canvassed for the BC NDP, they did a much better job actually talking to the canvassers, whereas the federal NDP just literally wants you to call every single living Canadian and ask them what's good without actually letting anyone know what the platform they're calling about means.

Since a lot of people seem to think that death or full recovery are the outcomes of covid, does anyone have a good resource on how many have long-term damage?

"Our study is unique in characterizing a group consisting of mostly outpatients: 90% of our cohort experienced only a mild COVID-19 illness, yet one-third continue to have lingering effects," she said. The issue of course being that this can be hard to measure for a lot of reasons, and it's hard to find stats about severity of long COVID.

Anecdotal but my wifes boss still has limited taste after a year and gets fatigued randomly. My friends boyfriend is now on an inhaler after NEVER needing one his entire life. Both work in medical fields so it was caught at work somehow. I can't find it but there was a tweet with a scan of someones covid lungs and they were like half the size of normal healthy lungs.
