The chorus is a little low key and that's what's missing for me in the Fromis track. It's a catchy melody but needs to hit harder after the verses and prechorus. It's just kinda flat energy wise throughout. This chorus sounds like a sitcom OST.

Loona is really designed for sub unit stuff, they've just got too many members for full group songs to really give everyone time. same with the car horn in the new Stray Kids lol at least with most of them it's diegetic to the video and not on the album version, with SK it's non-diegetic and just part of the song! New Brave Girls kept the phone sound in on the actual track too though. EDIT: You can also pull up any track via youtube music, remove the .music. in the URL, and get just the mp3. New stayc track out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xmxcnf2v_gs Lighter on the feel, but an interesting bouncy synth thing going on that helps tie the feeling together well. Not my favorite track but that is just a personal stylistic preference, I thinks its pretty good and expect it to do quite well. Feels a bit like TT from twice in a way, its got a sort of 'cute' vibe without going for extreme levels of it.

The return of dnb STAYC in the chorus is so hecking good. Despite not being very high-tempo it feels energetic and fresh to me. I hope this does well with the general public. They've had three great releases in just under a year and I want to see what they do if they get some more opportunities. The styling in the video is so good too. I don't listen to their songs but I would guess Stayc will end up being one of the biggest groups this gen, they already seem very popular in Korea and just need the international fans to come along at this point

I felt kiiiiiiiinda underwhelmed by Stereotype upon first listen, and I really think it's because I had the volume turned down a little for an 8 AM listen. Because I came back and listened to it quite a bit louder about an hour later and man, the produciton hits different with some volume behind it. Also, the rest of the EP is absolutely fire. What is with these 4th gen ggs, I swear to christ

I like Stereotype. It’s a little higher impact than ASAP but also still catchy. Something about the vocal mixing is messing with my head though. Feels almost like it was mixed in pure mono. Slow Down is my jam though, maybe their best track.
