I reply love the complete disregard over what families with kids under 12 are going through. It’s not just our fears about our kids getting COVID but how we’re coping with childcare or lack of support.

I don't have a lot of patience for liberals complaining about the people falling for conspiracy theories when the government advice has been mixed and confused and still isn't great even when not actively harmful. If you're masking and vaccinating and staying home when you don't gotta earn money to live then awesome, but if you're just blindly following the government advice you don't really have all that much room to bitch out other people.

If I am running multiple errands I tend to keep my mask on since I am trying to cut down on touching my face or mask even if I use hand sanitizer. I also tend to just keep it on until I get home and wash with soap and water before I take it off and then I can wash again.

Serious question. for me a high quality breathable mask its more mildly annoying take it off for a short drive than it is to just leave it on also if someone comes up to my car at a stoplight to ask for money for cleaning my windshield or whatever, then i can open my window and talk to them/hand them something without having to scramble to put on a mask before the light turns green for longer drives i do take it off

got really sad this morning because I’m getting married tomorrow and it only just hit me that I’m never going to be able to have an actual wedding, I’m doing the paperwork tomorrow and when I had talked to my partner he had said we could do a ceremony sometime in the future but it’s like, either there is no time it’s possible in the future or if it is it’s just oh yeah we got married five years ago but come to our wedding, and that just seems super lame

my wife’s doctor got mad at her for wearing a respirator to her appt and gave her a 10 minute angry lecture about how she was wrong and should take it off she is very timid and didn’t handle it well but kept the respirator on at least

I wonder how many people died due to respirator / vented n95 shaming. Pretty much every older white guy with a house had them are the start of the pandemic and I know a bunch personally who wore them off early on them got shamed nonstop and said fine I guess I won't care
