Is Mammon the weakest of the demiurges? Besides being giant dragon Jeff Bezos, does he have any other particular skills of note?

I seem to recall he bought his key, which is never a good thing way to gain power when it all boils down to the using sharp rocks part of the equation.

Well, he is now.

I don't know if he always was, but in a world where power is explicitly linked to the will to use it being the most depressed demiurge probably made him the de facto weakest regardless of whatever else he had going in.

Well he's just too big for conventional weapons and techniques to even work on him and he summons both meteors and molten gold during this fight. But yeah, his real power is just overwhelming monetary assets.

mammon was explicitly called as the weakest several times, and when jadis saw her oopsie and got stuck in blue jello it's explicitly stated that she went from one of the most powerful demiurges to the least (except for mammon)

Yeah, back in the day Mammon was saved from being bottom of the barrel by 1) Incubus, Jadis, and possibly Mottom existing and 2) the clever stratagem of being a gigantic dragon, but senility has certainly not helped his burning fires of will.

I think at the time of the ranking Mammon was described as the weakest "for reasons that will become apparent when he appears", or something like that. Seems to hint that his mental state was the main reason for him being the absolute last. Otherwise he probably shares the bottom tier with Mottom and/or Incubus.

Though to his credit he's as far as we know the only Servant to become a Demiurge, so his personal will was probably pretty impressive.

Yes, though being wealthy enough to buy something that's priceless and irreplaceable during a war where there's thousands of warlords willing to shank you and steal your hoard seems to imply he was probably strong enough to be a real contender for the key for other reasons.

WC beating Solomon was a huge rear end-pull, but the outcome was cool enough to overlook the hard fact that she should have been smolted right there if not for the plot armor.

Why Jagg pissed about in his weaker form and didn't kill Solomon (and his whole planet) by surprise is really puzzling to me. Even if Gog would have gotten away, he'd have Solomon's key and be able to take her and the rest. The fight would have been over before the combatants knew it was on, and he isn't characterized as the giant moron every other demiurge is.

Also:

Calling what happened with White Chain plot armor is stupid and reductive as hell.

As for the second part, as far as Jagganoth is concerned his victory is completely inevitable and unstoppable. He doesn't need subtly or subterfuge because trying to stop him is like an ant trying to stop an avalanche. Better to offer the chance to die quickly and cleanly and save everyone the trouble.

Yeah I'd always been under the impression that the Seven had formed an alliance together as minor demiurges before they came out on top and worked together to take out everyone else.

(With the possible exception of Maya/Incubus)

I hope we get a flashback thing about Incubus and Maya that ends up with him not being a massive piece of poo poo but I doubt it. I feel like everyone is going down in less than glorious fashion. Like the few minutes Gog came to help Jag’s armies invaded her worlds and sterilized them while vulnerable.

Gog's worlds are mostly Gog anyways, and also why do people keep going 'I bet Jagganoth was doing something horrible offscreen' there's no parsimony to it.
He's doing something horrible on-screen and with great success, I don't see why it needs to be more complicated than that.
