There biggest argument is that there are randomized controlled trials yet so all that observational evidence might just be biased. Basically, that we might need boosters but they don't believe think observational evidence is sufficient to show need. And they're right that there should be booster trial results - I know at least Pfizer had been running them so were the hell are the interim results? I personally think they're argument against believing any of the observational studies showing declining effectiveness is mostly bullshit, though - they're right that confounding factors and selection bias in test-negative case control trials can be a problem, but in the latter case we'd expect to over-estimate VE and it wouldn't explain changes over time.
