I think there’s two groups, the deniers who are just rocking business as usual, and the others who are taking precautions like masks and distancing seriously day to day, but for production are relying on frequent testing and safe practices, in order to not wear masks on screen. For sure there’s a difference between the vloggers and the guys working with real production teams.

His partner often rocks a maga hat and they usually fly trump flags off their side by sides. But he certainly has a lot of money, and around here in Utah they are basically superheros. He's living my dream life to be sure. Just wish they'd keep the trump poo poo off the channel, but they are too big to care really. Also they used to own the second largest island in the great salt lake. They'd drive monster truck schoolbusses along a sandbar to get there, that is when they weren't flying heavy D's helicopter. Definitely a charmed life

Oh man, Sampson boat company videos are like the best after maybe Project Binky, except they drop almost once a week. The quality of work on that boat is amazing, though whether it's actually a rebuild is a philosophical question, though Leo seems to think so and went to some length to be able to think so. Not a whole lot of the original Tally Ho remaining - it's just part of the transom, right? Seems like they'll eventually re-cast the entire ballast keel too. Though not as great I also watch Acorn to Arabella. SV Seeker has been fun to follow too over the years, except it's a very ungraceful all metal OSHA-violating boat project that's about to launch (hopefully). For someone unable to enjoy boats due to seasickness I sure watch a lot of boat building on YouTube.

It's fantastic watching those two in parallel because Leo knows his poo poo and Steve and Alix are learning as they go(really really well). The boats are also similar enough to really highlight the small differences in technique, construction, materials etc.

I really dug MCM's recent video showing Moogs amazing woodworking shed. Neat stuff. I think I've posted this before, but The Lab is a local guy who does weird and wonderful work for customers and himself has a VK45 swapped D40 Navara and a bonkers K12 March time attack car - with a 700hp twin turbo VQ35 mounted backwards, in the rear, driving a custom 4WD system. Oh at one point the original 3 door shell was destroyed, so he got a new 5 door shell and converted it to 3 door. In a tiny garage. Here's an older vid with a walkaround of the car, currently he's swapping in a sequential gearbox, making some changes and doing some creative weight removal. Non-chud car content creator news: After leaving Wheeler Dealers several years ago, Edd China tried to start up an independent show on his youtube channel. It seemed to go nowhere. However, about 5 months ago, he was finally able to begin posting videos on a regular basis. Found out about the new videos at random, went through the backlog, and I like it. It has the potential to be far greater than WD, imo, because it's just a show about whatever project or topic Edd wants to tell us about, at whatever depth Edd wants to go into, for as many episodes as he needs to present it all.
