Yeah I probably agree but Kurosawa seems to have been quite beloved as a person and I think it’s a lot more widely seen. I appreciate how different they are, Throne being so large and theatrical and 1971 being so filthy

Just really really good and I think captures the play well. The 2015 Hamlet was one that I really really wanted to like but I fell asleep halfway through and never went back. Not to make this the Shakespeare adaptation thread but Coriolanis is really good as well...

No loving crop circles, no fancy light shows, just BAM internet and power go out, and they find out from there.
