Yeah, the dialog was so bad in Spawn/Batman. I felt pretty let down by the hype surrounding the issue at the time with it being written by Miller and art by McFarlane. Miller still had a lot of credit with me thanks to his earlier work with Daredevil and The Dark Knight Returns and Ronin. McFarlane's work was actually pretty good in this issue (he can be hit or miss with me).

The companion comic released by DC the same year, Batman/Spawn:War Devil was so much better. I also think Klaus Janson is a much better artist than McFarlane as well.

I think this was actually the first comic I ever bought with my own money.

No regrets.

I think in 1994 everyone was still ok with computers - you largely only ever ran one program on them at a time and problems were much easier to troubleshoot as a result :v:

NEC is Nippon Denki Kabushiki-gaisha, or "Nippon Electric Company, Limited, before rebranding in 1983 as NEC", per Wikipedia.

Packard Bell is the only US company in that panel.

Same. For a show called Harley Quinn, every other character is more entraining than she is, and King Shark is the best of them all.

I agree, but she's not bad and Kalee Cuco is really good at voicing her. The other characters are just so great, they surpass her.

Dandadan is pretty great, teenage dumbasses getting themselves in situations.
