Youtube-dl can download stuff from youtube easily, and it will output audio only if that's what you want, just so people are aware.

I had a hard time listening to Blago say both “I didn’t do anything wrong” and “by that standard, you’d have to lock everyone up.” I tried to say the same thing to a cop who pulled me over for speeding when everyone else was speeding too. ‘There was no explict request…” is the same rationale the trump folks used for his firing the fbi director. Blago’s implying the prosecutors cut a deal with Obama to keep them on was an interesting thread to pull on though

This was a fun interview because I can't think of a better way of exhuming a cryogenically frozen early-obama democrat than getting him straight out of prison, while also seeing how his perspective was fundamentally changed when he actually got on the bad side of his fellow politicos

Two things just came to mind first was his like detailed explanation of how you’re not allowed to personally benefit and then a way too long list of people he’s related to just to say “I signed an order saying they couldn’t profit was doth protesting way too much. The other, the bullshitting line. He’s sitting there with Felix talking about how he feels more like a drug dealer because at least he respects them not like these white collar bullshitters…then in his white collar proceeds to bull the ever loving poo poo out of us for the next twenty minutes. Or how he’s talking about not snitching or people rolling over. It was bad gangster movie dialog. I was entertained but if I were a juror I would convict just based on this interview. What a slimy piece of poo poo. He probably disrespected the wu tang clan too.

Blago's worldview clearly hasn't really changed, he's the same kind of loyal political dog he was before, he just wants a new owner who won't kick him. But the interview is great, both because it's Felix getting to demonstrate a "kind of guy", and because this kind of guy is the instrument of the political machines that run governments. You're going to have to deal with a lot of people like him, and the other politicians he describes in detail, if you want to do electoral politics.
