my bad -- faulty antecedent and bad phrasing: I couldn't find a credit for whoever's editing MBMBAM and/or TAZ. they sometimes talk to Clayton during the MF episodes. but it's true: like all true fans of the mcelroy family, I believe that this is the sign that their politics are not correct and I will boycott them until they release a new episode on Monday e wait, I just bought the podcast book and it's arriving on Saturday. until Saturday double e ah, gracias. A Youtuber is making an edited/abridged version of Graduation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NH-CM37sBh8 I'm not going to be all "McElroys, hire this man!" but I think it's an interesting listen if like me you found the pacing to be a bit weird (they cut up to 4 episodes at a time into a one hour block). I don't really notice what is removed a good amount of the time.

Behind the Bastards episodes w Billy Wayne Davis totally and effectively supplanted Sawbones for stories about medical grifts and conmen and people generally doing terrible things in the name of "curing" "diseases." You can make funny and interesting content about why you shouldn't eat horse paste, Sawbones just isn't it unfortunately. Meanwhile Wonderful continues to be a nice little weekly lagniappe to accompany MBMBAM listening, especially with the new shorter format.

In their defense, they did have another kid, and Sydnee’s been doing clinical work during all of COVID, in WVa no less Like, I don’t listen to that podcast anymore either (although my initial impetus might have been quite different from yours) but I can’t really blame them if it’s been creatively back-burnered Justin isn’t medically savvy in the way that S is. They’d have to like hire somebody to help write or showrun/research/script/fact-check, and that’s probably too much outlay for Sawbones relative to something like TAZ. Although they could probably find a med/grad student to pay for a couple hours of part-time/do it for free.
