He gets to miss the Bucs game so he might be able to play the rest of the season.

And now my Sunday is free and I can make a bundle off Brady Stans.

Condolences on not seeing em in person, though I’d imagine it’ll be remarkably similar to the last bills game I went to

I got to see Wes Welker score a 99 yard TD against us on Monday night and the last time I saw them play the Bucs (also a Monday night I think) Tanny led the team in rushing with like 17 yards!

If Allen gets hurt before I get to see him come to New York I'd at least have Mitch as a consolation.

Don't get to see a ton of Bills games living like nine hours away from Buffalo, so I'll always cherish the fates aligning to allow me to see the Jeff Tuel game.

I guess it means he's possibly back for the London game which would be awesome since I have tickets but this is so disheartening. What a first season to properly follow the Dolphins.

Somehow I saw the Billy Joe Hobert game. Kid me was cracked up by the revelation he hadn’t studied the playbook.
It’s still funny as hell. Imagine backing up Todd loving Collins and counting on him not being benched.

If your OL is near as bad as it was with Buffalo, the bed is poo poo, the season is over.

If it's not, I think you're fine with Brissett. I think he's pretty comparable to Fitzpatrick on the whole and baby Tua last year.

The Dolphins had 2 total rushing yards in the game.

I think you can probably preclude a significant improvement from last year's team at this point.

In re: to the OL I don't think you need to go too crazy about performance week 2. Austin Jackson is probably a write-off, but I suspect the line as a whole is probably going to end up pretty comparable quality to last year.

It''s flown a little bit under the radar with the unit's performance as a whole(and the bad rep vs. Rosseau), but I think Liam Eichenberg looks pretty promising.

Flores gets poo poo on for how bad they’ve regressed imo Grier gets poo poo for his puzzling picks of Noah etc

Was it not this thread where it was posted that Brissett is like a bottom 5 starter over his number of starts in his career?

He can probably beat the Jags and maybe a Wentzless Colts but beyond that….

What do you mean? He hit on a 2 time all pro first teamer in the first. A lot of GMs would be lucky to draft one player as good as that.

He's a different player in terms of style and all that- Brissett doesn't really take the kind of risks Fitzpatrick does, but last time we saw him play outside of being an uhh short yardage specialist for the Colts he produced a very Ryan Fitzpatrick quality season(2019) in an offense that was pretty modest in terms of talent.

Didn't Brissett get hurt halfway through the season and play through the pain? He was 5-3 through the first 8 games and looked pretty solid, was inactive for week 9, and was awful for the rest of the season. Either that or teams just got enough film on him. He also threw 14 TDs in his first 8 games, and 4 for the whole rest of the season.

Yes, he did. Brissett started the season 5-2 and was playing fine, as was the whole team. He got knocked out early in the second quarter of a game against Pittsburgh with an MCL sprain, and they eventually lost by 2 when Vinatieri missed a field goal at the end (I'll note this was his last year where he struggled in some games and it cost them a win or two). Brian Hoyer started the next game against Miami and threw three bad picks in a 16-12 loss. The general feeling at the time was after how poorly Hoyer played in what was a winnable game, Brissett was rushed back into the lineup before he was fully healthy. How much it affected him was debated somewhat at the time, but both Frank Reich and then-OC Nick Sirianni both said he was clearly still recovering and it definitely affected his play during some of those last seven games.

Just offer Detroit San Frans future first for that LT that they replaced with Sewell. He’s actually pretty good so they’ll never do that but man i can wish

Maybe Mekari from BLT? And a giants website had a good write up on the Chiefs backup who was solid last season, which is.. sounding drat good too.

Make moves. Why the gently caress not, you need a LT. Austin Jackson just can’t do it in Miami. Jon Martin looks like Dirty Harry compared to this kid

They were a last place team last year. They shouldn't be 10 point favorites over anyone. (Though my post was more about how awful the perception of the Jets seems to be)

I don't understand how you can think that a quarterback fixes this team. Every other position group ranges from exceptional (the secondary) to decently serviceable (RBs and linebackers), but the offensive line is worst in the league and going backwards. If they're trading four first rounders it should be half a line.
