Their O-Line was decent at the end of last year but they let their starting tackle go so they could draft a guy who needed back surgery. The offensive scheme is not helping much either.

Nagy needs to be fired on Monday. Let Bill Lazor run the offense and team.

I feel really sorry for Fields right now, any QB would be having a tough time against constant line failure and it's his first NFL start. It does feel like his instinct under pressure is to look for a gap and motor which will have worked well for him in college but it's obviously much tougher in the NFL.

Lower body injuries have completely sapped him of his athleticism. If he gets beat off the line now there's not much he can do. I kinda liked the idea of him in the slot in the short term, but yeah dude is gone. Didn't mind signing him for another season because the cap hit is so small, but he really needs to just be a depth piece the rest of the season.

OK, honestly: Chicago's offense is never good, or even average, but that was literally the worst offensive performance I have ever seen in the NFL. Literally ever. - Fields went 6/20 for 68 yards and 0 touchdowns and 9 sacks, resulting in the team having 1 net passing yard - 13 rushes for 46 yards, an average of 3.5 yards per rush - Overall average of 1.1 yards per play; 9% third-down efficiency - Field goals scored on a drive started on the opponent's 37 and a drive that should've ended in an interception but where they were gifted a 48-yard DPI bringing them to the opponent's 12 I still think Justin Fields will be fine, but holy gently caress this particular game was historically sad.

It's so on-brand for the NFC North that, after that historically awful Bears performance, the Lions also managed to lose by having literally THE LONGEST FIELD GOAL IN NFL HISTORY beat them as time expires jesus christ this is such a sad-sack division
