Holy loving poo poo. The Bears ran 42 plays for 47 yards today. In the modern 2021 NFL. They also had 44 yards in penalties so that's basically 3 yards the whole game. I don't think I've ever seen a worse offensive performance in my lifetime and I am pretty old. https://www.espn.com/nfl/matchup?gameId=401326365 How did they get 6 points?

That game was worse than the Todd Collins game. And Jesus christ I never thought I would see a worse game than that.

Fellas, i’m beginning to think that Matt Nagy doesn’t know what he’s doing.

One drive ended on an interception, but that got overruled by an incredibly soft DPI that gave them 48 yards (which we can also think of as "more yards than the Bears offense gained legitimately over the course of the entire game) and it put them on the Browns 12 yard line.

47 total yards. 1 net passing yard. At least they didn't lose to a 66 yard fg like the lions did Really seems to sum up this division right there

He's the best at taking responsibility and then doing nothing different the next week. Usually it's the "we need to run the ball more, and that's on me" post game loss comment. Then they run it even less the next week

I don't think he wants to talk about scheme. Fate Accomplice posted:the bears earned this by drafting Justin fields. For some reason this has flown under my radar for decades. I'd never given the matter much thought until recently, but I was working with a dude who was Bears fan and for whatever reason I never realized how utterly dire they've been at the QB position throughout my entire lifetime until we got to chatting about it one day. Maybe it's just that the mid 80's teams are so cemented in my head and McMahon was so much fun but, man. On a team with a history of lovely QB's, Justin Fields delivered the shittiest performance ever in the history of the franchise - and maybe the entire modern loving league. I wonder what Alan Robinson's stats might look like if he hadn't played with Bortles and Trubisky and now this.

I mean QB performance wise, the Todd Collins game was still worse.

Also probably Rick Mirer and there have been other way worse QB performance games. this was just an utter miserable watch.
