The whole ITZY album is phenomenal, but I fully put those instrumentals on repeat once I was done listening to it, and reminisced upon the days where I could still go to the club. #Twenty, Swipe and Gas Me Up are probably my standouts off the top of my head. Oh, and Chillin' Chillin'.

Don't know if they are basing it on a specific person's story or not, but I've read/listened to multiple people's stories that have had the basic same start: born in Korea, parents immigrated and got citizenship and didn't do some sort of paperwork, some minor crime or incident occurs and then they get deported.

Their last album had decent numbers though (and each album has been increasing in sales), so I wonder if its just poor money management or what. Every time I look deeper into how BBC have managed LOONA, I just get get more and more befuddled. The $10M(!) predebut project is one thing, chalk that up to overconfidence or whatever, but stuff like... just flat out breaching contract with DONUTS to the tune of having to pay back their $3M investment (all they had to do were some livestreams!), as well as legal fees due to not even showing up in court is another. Or completely failing to capitalize on any of the "stan loona" international popularity with a tour. The only time the group has even left SK was for their KCON appearance, which ????? I dunno, the way this whole project has been handled from the start has really lent some credence to the long-running joke that BlockBerry is actually an elaborate money-laundering scheme.

I've got quite a few people ahead of her as the best, but she is way above the average and like you say she is quite good with conveying emotion. I agree that having a mix of her singing and rapping leads to a more enjoyable song, and found it a more interesting listen than spicy.
