There's a quack medicine movement called "grounding" or "earthing". The basic concept is that people are healthier when they're electrically grounded. Most of the people who believe in it just walk around barefoot a lot, or wire themselves up to copper stakes that they hammer into their yard. When they're dumb enough to spend a lot of money on it, then they get electrically conductive sheets or rugs that are wired up to electrical ground. Conductive socks are one of their things, although I've mostly seen them made with silver.

None of the people involved know anything about how electricity works. There's also a lot of crossover with the "5G gave my kids autism and cancer" crowd.

Methane, it's supplemental to the petrol engines in russia, ukraine etc. Cheaper than gas. Very economic in medium run (up to 200k km).
Also shoddy (most of these) installations lead to dangers in long run.

Capitol: A building or complex of buildings in which any legislature meets.
Capital: A city designated as a legislative seat by the government or some other authority, often the city in which the government is located; otherwise the most important city within a country or a subdivision of it.
