Hydraulic Press Channel has a video where they were running one of those apple peelers with increasingly fast power tools: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7--fzZE2qk Edit: Forgot they eventually got the apple to spin itself apart. For when peeling an apple in under a second just isn't fast enough. Cat Hatter fucked around with this message at 19:33 on Oct 5, 2021 |

Wear ears and eyes. Use a heavy hammer. I have to use the red blanks in my basement. Somehow I have the most dense concrete ever poured in the world in my basement. You can't even get a regular masonry nail to bite. It' just bounces off. Even the powder actuated nails only sink in a half inch. I just knock the end over to clench the nail. Not really necessary but that's what I do. It's glued down as well anyway with PL400. They are fun tools to play with. Who doesn't like to hit something with a 2lb hammer and make it go boom.

the only reason fire blankets are common in the uk is that british people are obsessed with making chips (fries) when we come home drunk from the pub and loooooots of people burned their loving houses down by putting a pot of oil on to boil and then passing out/getting distracted or whatever fire blankets will do a reasonable job of controlling a chip pan fire (if you're capable of using one) whereas pouring water (or using the wrong type of extinguisher) will explode your loving face off

The whole premise of the Darwin awards is that it’s an award for removing yourself from the genepool(because you’re stupid). It only makes sense if the death is a result of your idiocy

No thats solidly Darwin awards level stuff there. I guess he thought the deck could hold an infinite amount of weight? Sometimes you still have to think about what you're doing even if you're only moving things from there to here.
