yakuza's dicking around is nowhere near as pointlessly in depth as shenmue's, it just has a big world you can wander around and do minigames in while shenmue asks you to do minigames for six hours until you figure out how to progress

yu suzuki is a brave man, i didn't expect shenmue 3 to finish the story based on the scope of what he wanted shenmue to be, thats just not even remotely possible. but also, within the scope of shenmue, shenmue 2 is three or four Chapters out of however many chapters yu suzuki is saying shenmue encompasses this week and shenmue 3 is like a filler episode that the anime studio scrambles to make when they start catching up with the manga. its not fair to compare the incredible shenmue 2 and the absolutely buck wild last couple hours of that game culminating in that cliffhanger, with an indie kickstarter game but, that is the comparison we were presented with

binged a bunch of dragon maid s2 and it's like 60%  and 40%  .I would find it very hard to recommend this to someone new to anime. But it might be fun for someone who already finds Konosuba pretty entertaining. At any rate, I found it pretty good so far but Laid Back Camp S2 is still anime of the year for me.
