e-bikes suck in the EU if you're a reasonably fit non-senile adult, cos the pedal assist cuts off at 25 km/h and then you're left with an unncecessarily poo poo bike, while for decent e-bike money you can just buy a good bike that's easy to pedal up to 30+ km/h they are much better than other personal transport for weak babies and old people though, or maybe if you work up a mountain cargo e-bikes are pretty cool if you have to haul tons of poo poo around for some reason
