OSHA IV: the gas flare and killing rig are alone against each other.

The Real Amethyst posted:

Question for the US friends ITT: How common are fire blankets in household kitchens? What about in workplace kitchens?

I asked a US firefighting forum what fire safety measures they have in their own homes and workplaces and they were mostly like "lol fire blankets? Never see them/who needs em" kind of attitude.
I've never heard of having a fire blanket at home. I keep an ABC fire extinguisher within arm's reach of the stove and also have one in the trunk of my car. I also gave a fire extinguisher to some friends who didn't have one when they moved into their house and they ended up having an insurance claim rather than a total loss. I've done fire performance and pyrotechnic stuff, and have seen friends get extensive third degree burns because of accidents, so I'm meticulous about safety.

For some reason these tiktok videos no longer work on my computer in Chrome. I even disabled ublock and it still doesn't work. Does anyone have any idea what the issue is?

Edit: I solved it myself. Turns out tiktok won't load unless you allow third-party cookies. Pretty lovely.

Well, that seems to be more of a solution than a problem really. Less TikTok is good.

It's about finding that next group of core players we can win with in the next 6, 8, 10 years. Let's face it, it's hard for 20-, 21-, 22-year-olds to lead an NHL team. Look at the playoffs.
