I am hoping smoke will come back in some form in the next few months, It is sorely missed. Also, price change has been confirmed to happen on the 20th of this month to 30 US Dollars, those sitting on the fence until this moment well now the time to pull the trigger if you want to save money.

They had the only 40mm shells in range so we just went ahead and helped them put them into the war effort. Tanking is real fun, we have a good commander and can’t wait for him to get properly field gun brained.

Found a sticky nade on a body and threw it into a trench and it slapped a collie in the face. I had no idea it actually stuck to people too so I was dying watching them run around with the nade stuck to them until it finally exploded. Best kill ever.

Look it was that or the cheap can grenade full of thermite you had to just throw on it. War while broke sucks, don't do it. Meanwhile on the Foxhole front! Baths is being Sieged, we're leading with victory points and I published our 2nd Compilation video of the war. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=de-ILD9OoRw Secondary reminder, game goes up in price on the 20th!

We're continuing to find great success in pushing the general front we're based in, more people willing to log on and do anything from infantry to logi is always welcomed with open arms to keep the push going.

Probably the next setup for shard 2 which frankly should just be used as a testing ground for wacky poo poo or big balance changes.

I’m hoping for different starting conditions on shard 1, with more hexes as fronts to relieve queues and each side being able to play in territories they may otherwise never see.

I'd play the poo poo out of that war. Look at all the hexes to distribute pop and have no queue in!

At some point that would result in some of those wedges collapsing and the sides consolidating but boy howdy would it be wild times until it happened.

It would be utter chaos yes, where a single gun or magazine would make you a king. In present war news, Baths has fallen after several days of Siege. Tonight we should celebrate and roll out with some of our tanks.

How difficult is it to jump into this game solo? It looks groups-oriented but this isn't the style of game my friends play at all. Looks super interesting though and the long-term back and forth of the front sounds cool.

as anything else, it's not quite as fun solo as with friends, but you can always click on a factory cluster and build&ship a bunch of equipment, or click on a frontline and shoot at the enemy, so i'd say it's playable

Looks super interesting though and the long-term back and forth of the front sounds cool. Depends on what you want to do. Solo logistics is actually perfectly doable, but I've been super frustrated whenever I wanna fight. Artillery or vehicle combat is right out, too: you need multiple people to crew them. However, as a trucking game this thing excels and is surprisingly relaxing and fulfilling. Building your own little stockpile that you pull from and deliver to areas in need feels way better than you'd think it would.

Grab-gun-shoot-green gameplay is perfectly viable solo. Even some logistics stuff is like scrapping, making a few factory orders, running it to the front lines. Not unusual to even hop in a tank that doesn't have enough crew. There will be stuff that just doesn't work solo, but it's not impossible to play that way.

Yes if you know what you are doing and understand the jank of the combat/accept death is part of the deal you can have fun shooting and fighting too.

It's nice, when you're doing truck go brr, to have somebody to chat with. If you decide you want to play, hook up with the Wardens goons or the Colonials goons, and you can listen to what they're saying in voicechat. There will also be routine calls for "We need an Nth person for this tank/push gun." I find that I'm not having much fun, no matter what I'm doing, if there's nobody I know around.

Just make sure to get it before the price increase, where the early access price changes to full release store price on the 20th. Which is in a few days time.

Were any of you warden goons over in the great march or blemish over the last 12 hrs? If so how effective were our 120's? I gained so many commands from kills on the arty battery I was running and we pushed lotsa hexes (hell we retook the entirety of the great march from it) on the backs of that, it was a symphony of shells raining from the heavens... so am just curious what it was like at the other end if any of you were there.

It's also very helpful being part of a (goon regimental) logistics supply chain, which doesn't require me to be online when other goons are on. For you, it depends a lot on what kind of enjoyment you get out of this game. As a management game you can play without ever using voice if you like. As a shooty game voice is more important, but there's always local.
