It's still probably a revenue generator for Disney lol. People still pay for the channels. Like Youtube TV or any online thing people get are still paying fees to ESPN to carry their content. It's probably not like robber baron money, but it's not running at a loss.

For people that have trouble watching their local teams, it looks like you can use the Yahoo Sports App to watch them for free. Apparently, Verizon owns both the app and the mobile+tablet streaming rights to the NBA, NFL, and MLB. You don't need to be a Verizon customer, either.

Are you able to get postseason MLB games through Yahoo? I just installed it and I didn't see streaming options like I did for regular season NFL and NBA games.

Fox is also bad too compared to the others. They have Lalas on their coverage which is an instant turn off for some people. Also Fox likes to do Fox things with their coverage which soccer fans do not like.

It was still really weird for Turner to put him on in any kind of soccer-related role given that he stopped playing the sport when he was 18-19.
