Something about the way Snout looked in the last panel got me thinking... EDIT: Hold the phone. If Snout's intended to be permanently deaf, why does he even have ears in the first place? He just picks up a pen a craps his work out in a half hour with virtually no thought process

It's not the hair so much as the liines indicating that his forearm is behind his bicep while he has his hand on his head, which doesn't look right and is physically painful (for me at least) to imitate. Also, while it doesn't quite match, this is the closest non-porn GIS ("woman vomiting") I could find that resembles what mookie traced. (It could very well be porn but I'm not going to dig into that.)

I was going to say this is some sort of test of character or whatever and Snout has to boldly proclaim "NO THEY ARE MY FRIENDS" and then she says "You pass the test and are ready to find the Legacy" but yeah I think everyone else is right, she's secretly a villain and is lying to them to stop their noble quests.
