I've worked in a couple offices with open floor plans and all glass walls around conference rooms and whatnot, it's really bizarre. One place had rules against buying any decorations like plants that might block view through the glass, the aesthetic was supposed to be that everyone is on display all the time. Of course the executives had their own floor on the top of the building with none of this glass nonsense, everybody on the 9th floor gets their own private office.
