YES. A good spooktober comic. I hope to see some more.

Pupkin has been feeling lazy for awhile now, with a lot of strips of just one or two images of just a single thing happening. There used to be at least a bit of setup/payoff in each strip.

Agreed!

Same, got a couple of scattered issues from like 97 to 00 or 01. Always wanted to get the rest of them get the rest of the story because it definitely goes through a bunch of twists and turns over the years.

I don't think I've seen the specific archetype of being completely invincible, a sassy adventure buddy, and a lone survivor hell-bent on revenge, outside of the character of Xadhoom. I think it's neat.

She's going to get some character growth down the line. Which is funny enough one of those few issues I have.

I've no idea how common this trope is around the globe, but at least around my neck of the woods, religion and spirituality are considered inappropriate topics for children's entertainment. As a result, whenever a story has to involve someone grappling with the metaphysics of being, they inevitably wind up visiting some temple in the Himalayas for some clean non-denominational orientalist enlightenment. Particularly a favorite in the Disney comic universe.

This concludes the original run of Pupkin. Tomorrow begins “The Non-Identical Triplet” which is a short series that followed Pupkin. Is it as good as Pupkin? I don’t know! I’m reading all of this as we go too.

After The Non-Identical Triplet there is a series of one panel Pupkin comics, so regardless of how this next set turns out you haven’t seen the last of Pupkin!

All in all I agree that the last bit of Pupkin was underwhelming. It felt like Bobby was getting bored with it and just kinda phoning it in until he gave up and ended it here before returning to Pupkin a few years later.
