I've lurked in this thread for ages, its cautious approach to the pandemic mirrors mine and its one of the few places I know where an overly optimistic mindset does not rule. In my home city of Melbourne mask wearing will no long be mandatory outdoors, a completely nuts decision when you look at what happened in the US. More than a year ago I bought a few Honeywell respirators and now am almost ready to join respirator crew at work. 46m fully vaccinated seniors, so only about 1/4 have boostered. Granted, Modena just went online so this should improve but that's pretty bad since theyre the only ones really at risk of death

My uh...  half-brother's wife texted me and asked why I haven't contacted anyone over there in a while. I told her I was a little gun shy of finding out people over there were anti-vaxxers or worse.No response after a few hours.
