I've said there's a Wookiepedia problem where fan wikis will combine information from movies, books, cartoons, shorts, action figure blurbs and one-off ads all together in the same paragraph without meaningful distinction and then people wonder why it seems so convoluted and cluttered when it doesn't acknowledge at any level those were all written by different people who likely never talked to each other.

i suppose its possible that because the dune wiki, because it is a wiki, is written in somewhat clinical language that could leave out context from the books. but like, if you're going to line up to take a swing at one the classics of genre fiction, you may want to read up on other criticism first, see if these issues have been addressed before
