I've only had old fashioneds once, they were really good for a birthday lunch out with my wife. I'd normally order a 252 if I wanted something mixed(25% 101 wild turkey, 25% 151 bacardi, and 50% coke is the best mix(which is still 31% alcohol)). Don't like gin with anything but tonic or a good juice blend. Bourbon is just great for everything. I'm a pint of BV into the morning and am not really feeling it yet, maybe from the energy drink.

Old fashioned is whiskey, bitters, sugar or simple syrup, and orange peel or a maraschino cherry. It's been a while but I also enjoy a Manhattan. |
