For most viewers, I expect how interesting you find the movie is largely based on how interesting you find the character in question. (I did not find it particularly interesting, I think the whole thing was wildly overrated though the way the film straddles movie and documentary was kind of neat.) That said, there's really no defending the way Amazon is depicted. I can think of three things we're told about working at an Amazon warehouse through the text of the movie: 1) The money's good, 2) The job is flexible and there when you need it most, and 3) Amazon really cares about your safety. All three of these statements are blatant lies, so the Amazon-related scenes are pretty hard to ignore even if they make up a tiny fraction of the movie.
