God. Remembering the worst Vincent Price movie I've ever seen: House of Long Shadows. When my friend and I rented it they literally had to blow dust off the jacket. It was about a writer who was bet he couldn't finish a novel in a haunted mansion in a night. It finished with not one but two hackneyed twists! |

The Vincent Price train keeps on a-rollin'! Tonight we're watching 1965's The Tomb of Ligeia: It's the last of the Corman/Price Poe adaptations and probably the worst received, but a lot of that has to do with Vincent just being a little too old for the role as it was originally written, so whatever. I've seen Rocky Horror Show live 3 times so far. It's always pretty good. One time they even sold little prop bags to go along with it. Never seen the movie still!

spooky bonus halloween thing tomorrow!! 1:30 PM PST / 4:30 PM EST / 9:30 PM BST  Transitus is the most recently released album by Ayreon, a prog rock/metal/opera project that i really like. a lot of the albums fit into a weird time and space metaplot, but this one is a standalone story of SPOOKY GOTHIC HORROR it also features the voice of motherfucking Tom Baker, who was the fourth doctor on Doctor Who so why is this album being posted as a movie event? because of the following sequence of events: 1. Arjen Lucassen wanted to make it a movie, but stuff fell through 2. Arjen then hired someone to make a comic book to go alongside the album, so you could read & look at pictures alongside it 3. a very talented fan took those comic pages, used computer magic to animate stuff, and timed it all to the music and posted it so it is actually a watchable movie! come chill out and watch/listen to some spooky prog   https://cytu.be/r/BYOBmovies as always, 1:30 PM PST / 4:30 PM EST / 9:30 PM BST
