is it just me or are search engines getting back to how they used to be in the old days -- just giving completely irrelevant garbage? I was looking up some stuff and what i was looking for was similar enough to a certain kind of frog that i couldn't find anything no matter what modifiers i tried to use. Used to be back in my day you could use - or + or quotes to chain together specific things and now it seems to not work?

(but in case it is an honest question, you should be able to use " and - to narrow down the result unless the frog you're looking for is called the Beyonce Frog or something)

lol no i actually tried looking for +thevilestone to see their mysterious cyoa and got 100% results related to a hotel

Trying to image search for smokey jungle fog was giving me ALL ABOUT THE POPULAR SMOKEY JUNGLE FROGS OF BOLIVIA, just pages and pages and pages of fanciful frogs even if i started doing like just search for smokey jungles or specifying without frog, or all kinds of bs. Any combination that included "jungle" brought me these rampant frogs, i had to switch to "tropical rainforest" and then got a shitload of images of the pacific nw on fire.

For Google you can click tools, then 'all results' and switch to verbatim mode to disable its thinking for you poo poo.

The door closes behind you, and the White Deer leaves.

You start searching for the Grand Mage wand:

You take a short cut, and after some minutes you finally see it on the floor of a well in a hidden room. You put it in your pocket.

The magical brown air smells like mint:

"What is it? A mint?" It is a trap! But you were careful:

"I can smell the scent of mint. This must be the key to the Temple of Cephal!"

"Maybe..." you whisper.

"I am not that stupid, you can't!"

A voice from the door comes:

"Then you need to calm down" says the Grand Mage. "I will help you on your quest: and that's a promise."

He laughs with delight.

"Maybe it won't be so bad after all."

The smile on his face is very charming:

"I don't believe it" you gasp, "I will find out about what this gift can really do for me...and I will be a happy man...if only for a little while!"

You look at the mirror, and suddenly you see:

"He needs to find a way to heal the fish in his net so he can sell them. He cannot do that if they die. His magic will allow you to do that."

"I wish I had some magic eyes!" you yell in frustration.

You see another magical creature:

A wave of happiness hits you:

"Ooooooh, what kind of power is this!" you whisper. "So what if I stay young forever? Isn't that great?"

You see a Blue Sheep on the far side of the cave:

"It seems I can talk to the animals in this game. They are nice and they do not attack me!"

"You cannot make friends with that Sheep" you hear a voice .

You turn to find The Original Man again.

"Not yet..." you say.

The Original Man appears again.

"Do not even bother..." he says in a cold voice. "The path to my power is as dangerous as the one to your treasure!"

"I'm scared..." you say.

"It would be best to accept my offer and go with me."

"How much do I have to pay for this magic?" you ask.

"To become the first master of this magic, you must pay with your life."

"No way, I'm not selling my soul to the devil! I don't even believe in him!"

The Original Man only laughs and says:

"For the small price of your soul, I can grant you untold power. With my power, you can do anything. My power will also free all the Masterless Dragons from their bondage to me. And I will not force you to join me, just to give you my power. So, choose your price, and we can begin this adventure."

YOU decide to:
1. Accept his offer

2. Pay him 1,000 gold pieces

3. Pay him twice that amount.

4. Pay him more gold than any of the other NPCs.

5. Pay him for just being him.

6. Pay him to stop existing.

7. Refuse.

If you do not take the choice, the game will end, and you will never be born.

Otherwise, your soul will be auctioned off in Hell and you will become a slave to the devil for all eternity.

You will be forced to ride in his carriage, and he will train you in his special training ring.

Please note that we don't have any gold on us, so we may have to give the Original Man some of our equipment if we try to bribe them.
