Holy cats. I remember going to a RiffTrax Live event where Lowtax showed some videos he made with his little girl (not that kind, you sicko Goons), they were very sweet and that little girl was adorable and very creative. Also, without SA, Chickam would not exist. So RIP Lowtax, and thanks.

had a lot of fun experiences & met a lot of great people thru this site, and laughed at lots of lowtax content in the past. Regardless of his faults he contributed some amount of good to the world, for a lot of people, and I appreciate that. Rip.

It's interesting seeing old SomethingAwful clash with new SomethingAwful in this thread. Modern SA is very milquetoast, PC, lets-not-offend-anyone while old SA was a very angry and offensive place full of juvenile gutter humor. Lowtax ventilating himself has kind of drawn that contrast into sharp relief. I remember when the drama with Integral went down back in like 03-04, I felt really bad for her because the forums piled on her so hard. Now we know why she took off and everything went to poo poo. I kind of wish she'd come back to comment. edit: If Lowtax had actually maintained, updated, or shown any actual managerial interest in SomethingAwful he could've been wealthy beyond belief. The guy was just a big bag of bad decisions. SA was Reddit and Twitter before there was Reddit and Twitter.
