i don't have spotify and i'm about to mention cd discs so you can ignore this post. that said,i know some rappers have released double cds (cds lol) with the project on one and just the beats on the other. it could be the modern version of that where its basically giving the beat out in case anyone else wants to rap on it unless you mean the beat switched up drastically and it just made no sense in which case i do not know.

No it's like you said. The beat just kinda awkwardly repeats at the end. My first reaction was that it was for people to chop up and freestyle over but I wasn't sure if that was how it worked.
