The armband thing is no good, but I always thought armbands had a different history in Japan, based simply on the many anime characters I've seen wearing ones that said things like 'Leader' or 'Director'. Those are clearly the bad ones in AoT though.

If you want to find official merch with some degree of ease then look on myfigurecollection for whatever it is you're looking for usually under "tapestry" and you'll probably be able to find it in one of the listed retailers they have for said item or not at all because anime merch is always limited.

I've actually been planning to make a thread for Princess of Jipang for a little while. I originally wanted to use it partly to find someone willing to scanlate it, but then I decided it would look kinda weird to do that which is why I haven't posted anything yet. I'll still gladly post a thread for it as soon as someone picks it back up though.
