Something so very 90s about the comic that manages to work.

I do like how they treat the whole time police aspect with moral ambiguity, because the whole concept always has had that iffy element. Like, for the 23rd century folks this is cold, ancient history, for Donald it's like being forewarned of 9/11 or WW2; he'd have to be insane not to want to do something about it, and the Raider for being a selfish time-criminal seems to understand Donald's point of view.

Starslip Crisis (under its various names) comes to mind for also taking a pretty harsh look on the whole Time Police concept, and not just their commonalities with regular IRL police.
