Joking aside, we've done a few vegan cheeses for pizza (I'm lactose intolerant) but it's always too gooey. They work better for pasta than pizza IME.

I had the Pizza Hut/KFC popcorn chicken pizza when it came out. If that Thanksgiving pizza has gravy instead of the tomato sauce, I could see it being pretty good.

In my early twenties I went through a phase where I always had dough in the fridge because I liked no-knead bread loaves, but because I was the only one in the house willing to slice my own bread I was on my own eating it. As a consequence I ended up making a lot of pizza, because I didn't want the dough to go bad and I knew pizza would get eaten. Eventually I started getting real weird with it. Probably the weirdest was when I combined the dough with a recently-acquired gift basket to make a 'pizza' with mustard sauce, extra-sharp cheddar, and slices of summer sausage. I had too much self-awareness and shame to take pictures. The worst pizza I ever had was actually in France, and was essentially an enormous saltine cracker with mushrooms in it.
