actionjackson posted:they will just switch to electric cars yep. this is my problem with using ICE woes/emissions as the focal point for car hate (not itt, i mean the general public and legislators), it completely misses the point that you need a couple tons of steel and plastic to build one, insane amounts of concrete and asphalt to support them, and all the knock on effects on society from sprawling people out and making them all anti social and insular/individualist. car focused cities are the problem, not cars. a car is just a machine, same as any other
