Honestly feel like the new EG lineup doesn't sound all that good, at least in terms of Major play. Like you switch out iceiceice for Nightfall and that's obviously a pretty massive downgrade for a long while (and honestly idk if Nightfall will ever be as good at offlane as iceiceice) and you switch out Fly for Jerax which on paper is at least a slightly more sensible switch but on the other hand both Crit and Jerax have identical hero pools so idk. None of this helps to resolve EG's drafting problems. I can see a universe where the lineup is good but it just seems on paper to be so greedy and the very definition of a superstar team (but I suppose EG has always been that superstar team).

So from what I can gather, Hotaruz (no idea who this is) is the owner of the BumblebEEs team slot so he made a team with 4 women (and all the team members, himself included, have relatively low MMR compared to other teams in the division) for this DPC season and now people are angry because hotaruz has sexual assault allegations from overwatch/ they're taking a slot away from a "real" team but most of the hate and death threats seems to be directed at the women because gamers
