I beat Hades on like my sixth run using the shield, and haven't touched it since. Shield is clearly the worst weapon.

it's less that and more how rapidly you have to button press in order to get a good time when speedrunning. i dabbled with it for awhile and got some pretty good times but had to quit because the execution is nuts

We're a somewhat rare breed, at here least on SA. But all the weapons are so good once they click, from the sword's #yolo moveset to the bow's more methodical tempo.

Feels more like they're leaving the door open as opposed to confirming plans. I have a hard time thinking of what would even work for paid DLC. There's already a decent selection of courses. They could do like, all the courses from past Mario Golf games but would people really pay $20 for another 12 courses? Maybe a completely new mode, something like a full minigolf game. That might be cool.

my first hades win was with the autoseek bow. which i used a lot. but my highest heat win was with the gun one where you reload and do 1200 damage. i think my personal ranking is like bow = gun > gauntlets > shield > sword = spear. not for power, just for fun.

Bust Rodd’s Hades weapon rankings: Fists: 12 Heat Exo-Rail: 10 Heat Shield: 8 Heat Sword: 7 Heat Spear 6 Heat Bow: 3 Heat Bow sucks, I hate bow, bow is not fun and band even with powerful builds. Like easily less than half as fun as the next best weapon.

Shield sucks poo poo for the most part but the Zeus aspect rules. You can't use the time limit for heat with it very effectively but you can insta delete whole rooms in Elysium with the right boons

I uninstalled Hades a while ago for some reason, I just reinstalled it to check my weapon stats that everybody itt is obviously dying to know Shield 19 Gun 14 Spear 13 Bow 13 Fists 12 Sword 11 They're all good and fun to play, although some are easier to win with than others Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to play until I get fired again

Hades shield is very good because the charge is also a block. You can trivialize so much stuff with it. Zeus aspect is the best one but anything with multibounce will shred whole rooms.

I swear I feel like the thread is conspiring against me to get me to stop everything I'm doing and play Hades until I die. I have a good thing going on! FFX on the weekends, Fell Seal/Not FFT on the weekdays, Picross S1 before I sleep, and Dicey Dungeons when I need a break from the others. I can't just drop that all and go back to Hades. I am not going to check where I left off on heat. I think... Gun, Bow, and Fists were close to 15 or 16 everything else had just gotten past or was getting past 10. There are aspects I need to play with, but no no no. My real regret is that Hades is NOT a good phone game. I can't really hold conversations and play it, otherwise I just die a lot. There's no way I'd be beating high level heats, and I don't need to grind out Darkness and Gems in that fashion. How about that? What are good games to play while trying to have a good long sustained conversation, either in-person or with a phone? mem posted:I beat Hades on like my sixth run using the shield, and haven't touched it since. I love Hades, my biggest complaint is that it could use some alternate biomes for each act. Elysium in particular really starts to drag over time, it doesn't help that pretty much every enemy type in that act is some form of Annoying.
