No, the IFAB standard is best-of-5 then sudden death if still tied after 5 rounds. Since Philly converted 2 and Nashville went 0-4, there's no way Nashville could've matched Philly's result after 5 rounds.

With 4 attempts to get 0 successes and Union already at 2, Nashville could not have caught up with their 5th attempt. Shootouts end when the result is guaranteed even if it's short of 5 attempts. Also lol 2 Blake saves and 2 off frame aiming for the top corner (of the supporters section).

Ummm, no. Philly converted twice after 4 rounds. Nashville then missed their 4th attempt. Now, Nashville could at best get 1 point after 5 rounds, while Philly would at worst have 2 points. Last time I checked 2 > 1, so there was no reason for either team to take their fifth kick. Oh, in that case yeah, they done goofed. Nashville went first, so it's missing Walker Zimmerman's miss that nearly took out a security guard. If I had to make a WAG, whatever on the backend processes stats and turns them into pretty HTML only adds a row once a player and a result are present for both teams in that round, which didn't happen here because Nashville went first, so there'd never be a 4th round PK for Philly. This match result seems to corroborate my theory, as it's missing the make from Asprilla that won it for Portland, who went first (and FML that that was the first example I could find  ).

One of the overlooked funny things about MLS is that the league only gets like three sponsors per year and each of them runs the same ad for the whole season. I think that Janelle Monae Audi ad has led off every commercial break for every nationally televised MLS match for the past seven months
