Asking for a Friend and Violent Delights are A++++ live, and chvrches has definitely upped the volume compared to their last shows. They sounded incredible.

hell yah, this was posted in the synthwave thread. I am pretty stoked for this. The Drive OST was my first exposure to synthwave, so Kavinsky holds a special pace in my heart

I am yet another goon checking in to report that Chvrches was awesome live, this time in Pittsburgh. It was an absolute blast, Science/Visions was AMAZING. If anyone is on the fence about seeing them, do yourself a favor and go.

:yeah: The show in Columbus was amazing even with the backup drummer. Incredibly show start to finish and the opening act was great too!

:darksouls:
LCD Soundsystem is playing a 20-night residency at Brooklyn Steel. I saw them like four times since their reunion and they played the same drat set every time, and between covid, me living further from that venue than I used to, and the shows selling out instantly, I thought would be fine skipping it.

So of course, they've brought back:

* Beat Connection (first time since 2005)
* On Repeat (first time since 2007)
* Thrills (first time since 2011)
* Time To Get Away (first time since 2016)

so now I'm staring at literal 2x prices ($150!) for the later dates of their residency in December and debating getting a ticket :negative:

hopefully by then they're just playing every song on the bonus disc of the self-titled. play both versions of Yeah back to back, gently caress it

Richard Dawson and Circle collaboration album "Henki" out today and after a few spins, it's very spicy. Dawson's voice and lyrics with Circle's proggy and kraut'y weirdness combines just as well as the singles over the past few months suggested.

There's always a weird sense of ?? on my unwrapped. I just feel like the top song is always wrong.

For instance in this case it was some trance-y song called Pattern Thinker. I remember listening to it and it's on my most listened playlist... but I seriously doubt it was my top listened to song. Especially full length. It's 12 minutes and I feel like I've listened to it like... 4 full times before.

Otherwise top artist was Fue! Chatterton.

Top songs are:

Laugh Track by Ben Hopkins
Don't Tell The Boys by Petey
Death, Pillage, Plunder by Mellah
