I went bald at 18 and have shaved my head ever since. I can feel the ocular patdown every time someone sees the giant bald white guy. I'm so glad that dumb whipped cream on a slice of pie haircut is replacing the shaved head. Maybe some day I'll get to wear doc martens again.

A clean shaven 18 year old is another matter.

I got very mad when right-wingers started trying to make New Balance shoes some kind of shibboleth because I'm tall and have huge feet and they're one of the few brands that makes comfortable shoes big enough for me Also chalk me up as another tall, bald white guy. At least I'm in my mid-30s so nobody particularly side-eyes you when you're bald at that point.
