Has anyone in this thread had food from Fox's Pizza Den? So there's a giant pizza chain that has over 200 stores but they're only in sad Appalachian mountain towns. They have picked thier audience, and their audience sucks. I have eaten their pizza and it's horrible. Sub Domino's. But these towns have a gas station, a Fox's, and nothing else. Just a rotting downtown. You don't really understand the people if you haven't had Fox's.

It's just not something anyone on the internet talks about but actual thousands of humans have very certain parts of their lives defined by their local Fox's and I want them to be recognized.

Look, there are certain places you grow up and live where everything is just getting a little bit more terrible every day. But the one bright spot in your week is the pizza place in town that hasn't closed yet. And substance abuse.

I would never permit a fox into my dwelling, even if it was a hut. Foxes live in dens.

Investing in mall retail, but now also with the pandemic, to a population with a declining birth rate and with parents who both have to work and pay 1500 a month for daycare. Oh and your business model is selling poo poo from China or otherwise, not here. Ok sure buddy. You know what? Do they have a stock or a SPAC or whatever? I want in, nothing matters anyway.

whp global, the peeps who bought this, are specialists in buying stores that are complete fuckups at selling poo poo online, throwing away their failed systems, shoving some shopify or some generic poo poo on it and watching it beat the previous systems brutally its gonna turn into a cheap chinese stuff 90% online store with better qc than amazon, a low bar

People want a store that has a lot of amazon convenience without having to worry that you went to the wrong one of 30 different xbox controllers pages and they're running some sort of obscure scam on you, but best buy already does that, maybe you need something for barbies or whatever.

I stopped buying most expensive/ tech off Amazon because a worrying percentage of reviews are “This item is obviously some cheap knockoff”. I don’t know if it’s people buying real items and returning fake ones or if it’s just fake sellers, bit something has changed in the last three years and it just isn’t worth it.

It's because of "Fulfilled by Amazon" third party sellers. If a seller participates in that program, they send all of their product to Amazon and Amazon stocks it in their warehouses with their own product. At that point, Amazons PS5s (or whatever) aren't distinguished from TotallyLegalSonyProducts69's PS5s anymore.

This mall is mostly empty space and a huge chunk of what does exist is tacky places to sit and indoor theme parks. Wonder how much money the owners will burn to keep it open before it collapses.

Meadowlands American Dream is an indoor amusement park with some retail glued onto the side, and the one time I went there it was like 90% rich families with small kids wandering in circles and killing time while they waited for their water park reservation, so I don't think it's a terrible choice, at least not compared to any other mall they could've opened a store in
