Speed versus Power!
Sayaka Obihiro & Chie Koishikawa VS Yuna Mizumori & Tokiko “Otoki” Kirihara
Say Obihiroooooo! What do you get when you give the mischievous Veteran Sayaka Obihiro a partner with Too Much Energy? A striking duo unlike any other! Chie Koishikawa is almost always cheery (except after a big loss, stirring the hearts of fans!), but even more so along side her Hero, Mentor and Pillar of Gatoh Move, Obi. The Blue Flame & Frantic Fencer always leave a mark on their foes, and this bout will be no different. It should be a fun mix of the unique fencing chops of the girl that loves to say “Hello!”, and the almost magic pinning style of “Sprint” Obi. How will Chie's progress into counters and Muffler Variants come into play? Are we gonna see some of Obi's devastating chops, second only to the Oni herself? This is one of the most charismatic combo's that ChocoPro can field and it is always nice to see Chie get to fight along side her hero. Interesting side note, given that Obi is a professional Chef and Chie is a constant cook at ChocoPro for the talk streams...this is a very food-craft oriented team! (Also lots...and lots...of chops!) This high speed team is up against a high power combo, so this should be a very flashy affair.
Pairing up again for the first time since their appearance at SEAdLINNNG, the dynamic duo of Tropical Fairy Yuna “Yunamon” Mizumori and the Iron Body of the Fourth Generation, Tokiko “Otoki” Kirihara! These two are both associated with multiple successful teams (Yuna with TropiKawaild, TropiCalamari, Beauty As Is, W Yuna, and more...and Otoki with Shin Black Comaneci, Othello, and Otoki Eraser! Speaking of which, we'll probably be seeing Lulu Pencil soon...) Together they might just be the strongest pair the home Roster has to offer! Pure power is the name of the game here. The Idol Yunamon provides a sing song, blissful nature that belies the strength and agility she wields. This Tropical Hero showed a growing determination in her title match with birthday boy Choun Shiryu, taking the Dragon to his limits! While she didn't claim the belt just yet, Yuna's power will continue to grow until the Tropical Era begins. It is hard not to cheer for her, and will be even harder when she is along side the fierce Showa Era Dancer! Otoki utilizes a series of nasty kicks, sudden throws, and strong submissions to break down her foes. She is consistently a dark horse candidate for MVP each season, always delivering a solid performance regardless of her opponent. She even tends to give the Ace a run for his money in singles action! Together, they both also love Comaneci! Considering the combustible elements in this match, expect a barn burner. TropiCOMANECI might just run wild tonight!
GanPro in Ichigaya!? Ken Ohka Arrives!
Choun Shiryu & Masa Takanashi VS Ken Ohka & Baliyan Akki
It's the Dragon of Ichigaya Choun Shiryu's birthday! What a wonderful gift: pairing up with his old rival, “Drunken Monkey” Masa Takanashi. The Interim Super Asia Champ has provided a lot of fun and intense action for us this season (and others) and it is always a blast to celebrate a birthday on ChocoPro. Chon is a marvel of the scene, having done some of the most jaw dropping acts in Ichigaya, with his own fantastic flair. The Dragon is arguably one of the most legitimate threats in the promotion, given he managed to defeat his rival-turned-partner for this match in singles action...and even brought down Yuna Mizumori! (Minoru Fujita will have his hands full when they finally fight to re-unify the titles!) The Kung Fu master will certainly give our guest a proper greeting. As I said before, he'll be working with the counter specialist of DDT & ChocoPro, Masa! Not a lot of wrestlers utilize this style effectively, so it is a pleasure to see one so good at it. It has been great to have him back in both promotions. He's got great gear, a clever fighting style, a unique voice, a charming personality, and can out drink most of the roster! (We miss you, Mitsuru!) His matches are all unique and memorable, seeing Masa in a match is an assurance that it will definitely be must watch. Expect him to damage a lot of noses, pull a lot of pranks, and kick a lot of rear end! Will he finally get to hit the Taka-Tonic?
GanPro arrives to Ichigaya! Ken Ohka, the figurehead and hero of Ganbare Pro-wrestling joins his frequent cohort Baliyan Akki to make his dynamic debut! (Yes, technically he appeared in that impromptu match with the wicked DJ Nira at the second Masa show, but this counts as his first announced match!) Ohka is a decorated former champ from DDT, but chose to pave his own way with a sub promotion (that is now a full fledged one) called GanPro (a promotion with the blood of the Japanese Independent Scene running through it)...that even has its own spin-off now, Ganbare Joshi (GanJo)! GanPro & GanJo often feature ChocoPro related talent! Ohka's dream is wild, free, and very loud! This man is enthusiastic about everything he does. Be careful not to be overwhelmed by his charisma. (Similar to Yuna!) Ohka was introduced to me as the “ideal babyface”, someone you can't help but cheer for...and it holds very true. An every-man wrestler that was trained by Ultimo Dragon and has an absolutely awesome move set! He'll be paired up with Baliyan Akki (one of those roster members that appears for GanPro!), the Ace of ChocoPro. What a team! While Akki seems to have been cursed by Mei's excursion to America for AEW, the curse doesn't affect him at GanPro! He might not have one the tournament to crown the first Spirit of Ganbare World Openweight Championship, but he's been scoring victories quite often there. Deservedly so, as the former “Lone Wolf” is a fantastic combo striker and silky smooth technician. Will he get to hit that prototype Dolphin Press or new moonsault he hinted at in his personal stream? (Speaking of which, watch those talk streams! They're great for further information about the individuals) Expect this rebellious team to make a big statement!

Chie's Quest: EGG TART Returns!
Sayaka Obihiro & Masa Takanashi VS EGG TART (Chie Koishikawa & Hagane Shinno)
The Chef and the Drunk, together again! Sayaka Obihiro and Masa Takanashi is one of the most Veteran pairings you can get in ChocoPro! While both have been around since this version of Gatoh Move started, injuries & chef work prevented them from teaming up often. Obi is a charismatic trickster, able to do flashy pinning techniques that seem like magic. Her chops are on the same level as her mentor and teacher, “the Oni” Emi Sakura! She brings with her a raw joy that is very engaging, and it helps that her move set is so flashy...not to mention that fiery gear! (Do you think that inspired Sayaka's flames?) Masa on the other hand is nearly as impish, a counter-fighter with a knack for annoying his opponents. The “Drunken Monkey”'s style is very technical and crisp, but he isn't afraid to work the nose! Don't be fooled by his aloof nature and swaying movements...Masa is a real threat. Between Masa's hijinks and Obi's personality, this combination is a surefire thrill ride. Obi should use this to prepare for her battle against the UMA Corps tomorrow!
EGG TART (Chie Koishikawa & Hagane Shinno) returns! While they opposed each other last time, now they're finally on the same side. EGG TART is the best kind of mystery. How do they work together so well? The fan favorite polar opposite team has a bizarre but perfect chemistry that can't be put into words. Chie Koishikawa is a Frantic Fencer! She brings a cheerful flair and an unpredictable amount of fury (That sometimes brings with it a haunting aura we don't yet understand...). She is called “Too Much Energy” for a reason! Her backhand fencing chops have brought low monsters and demons alike. Chie is the “Ace of the Fourth Generation”...and she is still rising! This Muffler specialist is one to keep an eye on. Hagane Shinno is a Cold Killer. His attacks are deadly enough to even frighten Emi Sakura, the Oni herself! He brings an emotionless, calculated destruction that will remind you of the ravages of winter. Silent, beautiful, uncaring (except for how much he cares for Chie!). Simply a force of nature! (He's canonically beautiful by the way, Emi introduced him once as such) His relentless ferocity has yet to find an equal in Ichigaya. Egg Tart is a Team of Hot & Cold energies, and the opposing energies balance one another out to a degree that has shown a bit of each's personality changing the other! Will they still be on the same page after fighting one another? They were named after an incident where a drunken Chie stole a certain pastry from Hagane, by the way.
The Urchin Prince
Yuna Mizumori & Baliyan Akki VS Drew Parker & Chris Brookes
Yuna Mizumori & Baliyan Akki is one of the rarest combos in ChocoPro! They haven't paired up since Season 1, which was quite a long time ago. The Tropical Fairy is a sing-song Lariat machine that will have you redefining what you think a Powerhouse is. Her speed and power is frightening, only outshined by her overwhelming charisma! (If you missed her Live performance, it was great! Yuna working both as a wrestler and an Idol is a tough life!) While she is usually on the same side as Chris Brookes, Yuna is a tag specialist (like the other two of the “Top Three”, which includes Akki!) so it shouldn't be much of an issue to pair up with the Ace once again. Speaking of which, while the Lone Wolf, Baliyan Akki, usually aims for taking down the Champ (Fujita or Choun, the latter of which is his current goal)...he's got an eternal rivalry with his frequent commentary partner, Chrissy B. (You should watch TJPW as well!) While he is the only registered member of ChocoPro (due to all the Joshi being set to Gatoh Move), the liquid smooth combo striker is the Zephyr of Ichigaya...and he might just blow these two scoundrels away! (This match has a 30 minute time limit, by the way!) Akki has declared these last two episodes as “his!”
He's finally here! The Urchin Prince, Drew Parker was teased all the way back at Christmas time LAST YEAR...but fate prevented him from appearing until now! Known across the globe for his death defying style and devil-may-care attitude, Drew has held gold in America, Europe, and Japan! It isn't often Ichigaya is graced by a former GCW Ultraviolent Champion who is also a BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Champion. One thing to note is that High Flyers have to switch up their tactics in this place quite a bit...How will the Dart lover handle the environment of the Chocolate Square, and what is it that attracts Deathmatch wrestlers to this place!? Well for one, Drew's friend who tends to be the one that cleans him up after his violent shenanigans! Chris Brookes is usually known for his pairings with Masa in CDK and Yuna in TropiCalamari, but he is now introducing yet another tag team to ChocoPro! Chris has a tool kit of devastating maneuvers that will shock you out of your seat! The Tsundere Submission Specialist can adapt to any situation, but these two have quite a bit of experience together (including some flashy matches at DDT!) so expect the usual amount of Chrissy B villainy. What kind of madness and brutality will we see in this match? Tune in to find out!

Power Battle: Otoki's Chance!
Yuna Mizumori VS Tokiko “Otoki” Kirihara
Yuna Mizumori has had a fairly great run this season, all things considered! She might not have defeated the Interim champion, but she pushed him to his limit...and has been proving herself in everything from Live performances to Hardcore Tag bouts! The Tropical Fairy is a powerhouse unlike anyone you've seen before: flashy, musical, and explosively nimble. This Sing-Song Lariat Machine brings an unmatched passion and general aura while making her mark in ways that only she can. With a deep move set of power techniques and a knack for entertaining (she is a real idol, after all!) Yunamon is hard to take your eyes off of. While Yuna is basically unrivaled in Ichigaya when it comes to power, Otoki is nearly right up there with her. Yunamon will need to utilize her experience edge and technical advantage in order to handle her strike favoring opponent! Remember, no one in ChocoPro has kicked out of the Musya-Gaeshi...Yuna Mizumori continues to be one of my favorite wrestlers period, and it doesn't take long to figure out why: she's got all the tools to be a mega star. Papaya! Mango! Coconuts! Can't stop the Tropical Yahho!
“Golden Six-Pack”...“Super Rookie”...Reborn Angel...KISS themed Demon (Where have I heard that before...)?? Whatever title you want to give her, Tokiko “Otoki” Kirihara deserves them all. Much like her other rookie cohorts, the brutal Showa Era dancer of ChocoPro has really been improving at a shocking rate! I sound like a broken record, but the Fourth Generation has grown so much since ChocoPro started. One of the appeals of this series is seeing their potential increase in real time. Otoki has even recently appeared on GanPro and SEAdLINNNG (With Yunamon, at that)! She's moving up in the wrestling world! Otoki is special in a lot of ways, it is great to see other promotions realizing her potential as an attraction. She has been developing her own style (the Gatoh Move way) that includes a new usage of the Iron Claw to compliment her heavy striking capability. The theatrics before it is applied really make it her own! Tokiko Kirihara has a history of kick-boxing, judo, and is even beloved as her Golden Dressed announcer form. On top of this, Otoki also has her quirky love of Comaneci and the submissions (and occasional pins!) that have been born out of that idea. (Something Yuna loves as well!) Her rage and martial arts prowess have carried her this far...Much like with her battle with Sayaka, Yuna will find out that she isn't the only one that can dish out huge levels of damage. Can she bring down one of the Big Three? This battle is going to be an absolute barn burner if they go all out! COMANECI!
Return of the UMA Corps
Sayaka Obihiro VS UMA's Tiger Jeet Shinjuku
Sayaka Obihiro is a treasure to this world. Pillar of Gatoh Move, tremendous worker, certified chef, a warm mentor...all of which with a sense of humor that is deep and wonderful! I'm glad we've got more Obi action to look forward to! While injuries have prevented her from running amok as much as she could have over the past few seasons, “Sprint” Obihiro has declared that she will strive to wrestle all of 2022! Obi has incredibly high charisma, super great gear (did you know its called costume in Japan?), a chop that sounds like a car door slamming, and a flurry based pinning technique that I have yet to see anywhere else! Every single time the Blue Flame has appeared on ChocoPro it has been a blast, she really brings it! When Obi was out with injury, she continued her work as a chef at the place where wrestlers & monsters frequent, Ebisco Sakaba! Unfortunately she seems to have upset the UMA Corps, who have sent yet another one of their Yokai to battle in Ichigaya.
Who is this mysterious humanoid jungle cat monster known as Tiger Jeet Shinjuku? How is he related to his namesake? Much like Kappa Kozo, these unknown creatures are unpredictable and deadly! Be prepared for [REDACTED by order of UMA]
Fierce Challenge! Cosplayer VS Amazoness
Sayaka VS Rina Yamashita
The photogenic phenom, Sayaka, returns! The “Beautiful Cosplayer” has been showing more and more her aptitude for pro-wrestling (as well as a magnetic personality). Her incredible striking power is her biggest strength (among many great qualities), considering those forearms sound like gunshots! Sayaka's technical ability is increasing as well, with our resident gamer & model dabbling in more complicated submissions and trickier pins. Sayaka's singles as of late have been difficult tasks...but great experience. She always rises to the occasion, but this time she will be facing one of her most intimidating challenges yet! She will remain undaunted as always, however: There is something uniquely special about Sayaka's fierce determination...she is able to maintain the same unflinching emotional state that PSYCHO and Hagane Shinno can! Only Sayaka's is a bit more frightening, given she simply stays cheery no matter the danger level of the bout she is in. (“I'm gonna kill you! Yayyyyy!”) That unattached joy might eventually be the stuff of legends! Even beyond this unsettling trait, there is something indescribable about the charisma of the girl with the Green Flame gear. That unknown special quality, the “it factor”! Add that to the long list of reasons to follow her rise. The camera loves her...and so will you! With her flashy new gear and sky rocketing technical ability, the “Ace of the Fourth Generation” might be up for debate soon, especially if she can pull off a huge upset against Rina.
The former “Broken Dumptruck” is finally having her first singles match in ChocoPro! Rina Yamashita is the Deathmatch Amazoness: a mainstay of the Japanese Independent Wrestling scene, an absolutely brutal master of all that is Hardcore, and a believable threat to...just about anyone. She was like a unstoppable force in her last showing (as also found out by Hikari Noa the hard way in a Hardcore Match at TJPW...and by Charli Evans at GCW...you know, GCW and ChocoPro have been having indirect crossovers lately) with the Tag Team Destroyers, the Elephant masked powerhouse providing some especially eye catching take downs. She maintains a frightening natural presence wherever she goes, with a killer look and a charming attitude that will win you over before scaring the hell out of you! Rina is honestly one of the most vicious wrestlers out there, with a move set that is both flashy and ungodly. It is important to note that even without Deathmatch or Hardcore stipulations, this veteran still delivers a great showing, but Ichigaya tends to lend itself to madness and chaos. She has had a very strong year so far in 2021! While she seems to be done traveling the world (proving just how awesome she is to new fans) for the year, that doesn't mean she can't end it with a bang. Unfortunately for Sayaka, that bang will probably be her devastated body bouncing off the Chocolate mat!
The Lone Wolf of ChocoPro
Choun Shiryu & Shin Suzuki VS Chie Koishikawa & Baliyan Akki
Choun Shiryu is back! The Interim Super Asia Champ has provided a lot of fun and intense action for us this season (and others) and has really proven why he deserves to hold the big blue belt. Choun is a marvel of the scene, having done some of the most jaw dropping acts in Ichigaya, with his own fantastic flair that will have you seeking out more of his work! The Dragon is arguably one of the most legitimate threats in the promotion, given he managed to defeat his eternal rival Masa in singles action...and even brought down Yuna Mizumori! (Minoru Fujita will have his hands full when they finally fight to re-unify the titles!) The Kung Fu master will need to keep an eye on the Ace, however...because the Lone Wolf is hunting him! His partner is the returning Shin Suzuki! The bearer of the Black Heart emoji teaches children at the Heat Up dojo, where he also wrestles. His warm personality fits well with the general vibe of Ichigaya...and honestly, dealing with kids comes in handy in this den of goblins and hooligans! Much like many of the recurring guests for the online promotion, he has appeared across a wide variety of the Japanese independent scene. In his last few appearances, his unique personality and athletic prowess endeared him to the audience quickly...but Shin's innocent personality might just be his downfall! Chie has it out for him (because of course she does) due to him posting wonderful pictures of his cute baby. Yes, that is why! Good luck, Shin, this place is where “psychopaths live!”
Chie Koishikawa & Baliyan Akki together again! While this team has been called a few things in the distant past (A&C's Greetings, No-Name, etc) the latest seems to be “A B” (or “Ebi” Curry)...probably a play on the delicious Shrimp Curry by Chie. (Akki hates it, but Chie very much wants this name, she even has poses for it now) These two are each part of great tag teams, and together they actually have a lot of synergy! Chie is the Frantic Fencer of ChocoPro. She's got way “Too Much Energy”, her own variant knuckle chops, and several high-octane twists on fundamental wrestling skills! My personal favorite is that tight roll (sometimes a slam) into an even tighter Stretch Muffler! Chie is an underrated tag specialist, being able to work well with anyone she is placed along side: providing agility, raw energy, and lots of moral support! It should be noted that Chie said something about wanting to turn Shin's baby into an Onigiri that got the discussion stream taken down. Chie's promo ability is literally banned on YouTube! Akki on the other hand has chosen to embrace the “hard road ahead”. Despite his unique goal, it is assured that he will function well as a partner, as he always does! Akki is not afraid. In fact, he's confident! Formerly a lone wolf wandering through the blizzard that is hard times, Akki has found his home in Ichigaya. If you're unfamiliar, the Ace is an incredible technician! (The Zephyr of Ichigaya is the Ace with good reason!) His silky smooth combo strikes and wrestling wizardry is both a blast from the past and a glimpse of the future of pro-wrestling. Akki's goal is clear: to bring down the bearer of the Super Asia Title...regardless of who holds it. It is his destiny, after all...and though trials and tribulations have stood before him, Akki has survived. He has endured the storm...and now, he seeks to slay a dragon.
Every season's end is eventful...what changes will this finale bring?
