I dunno. This sucks for now, but I'm not going to predict the end of the band just yet. The official ETID twitter also said they're letting him take a break - so while it's obviously an attempt at damage control, nothing's permanent yet. People fight (esp family, esp a group you've worked with for 20 years), sometimes you need a break. Hell even Daughters got back together.

This is some big time armchair psychologist poo poo, but I wouldn't be surprised if Keith is going through a manic episode or something of that sort. His interviews and social media posts over the last ~year have seemed more and more strange. Also, his relationship with Angie has some very codependent vibes. I really hope dude is okay.

Band drama that's probably more common than we know in general, but this case just happened to spill out onto Twitter and fuel poo poo tons of speculation, hopefully the band are working it out now and we can move on and continue to enjoy sweet jams speaking of sweet jams I have been on a Kublai Khan TX kick all week, goddamn they loving rip. to me they are modern day Bury Your Dead (I know BYD still exist but their last EP was uhhhhh not wonderful except for Collateral) and I'm here for it and while i'm comparing contemporary bands to bands washed old people like, I'd draw the On Broken Wings -> Knocked Loose comparison
