A Short Hike. It's short but chill.

Aside from that if you're ok with Time Trial Racing Lonely Mountain: Downhill is pretty great. Trying to make the times can be a bit stressful I guess? but generally is just you zooming poorly around a really pretty landscape. Accept crashing and either find a shortcut or follow the path. It's really pretty great.

In that vein, I'm looking forward to finally getting the GTA collection because just driving in those, in particular San Andreas is just pleasant.

BotW has its own chill way of playing if you don't give a gently caress and just wander.

Some of the older FF games can be like that too especially with the cheat modes.

Yoku's Island Express is genuinely very chill and good. And there's something about Pikuniku.

And how could I forget Tetris Effect, the best tetris game. Check the SNES and NES apps too. With rewind they can be very nice and enjoyable experiences without the pressure of death, in particular the platformers. Kirby's Dreamland 3 is also just cute as all get out.

Yoshi's Crafted World is very chill. Just go 'round collecting things.

Untitled Goose Game is also super chill. I spent a day playing that when I was feeling like poo poo after getting my COVID vaccine. Really great chill and be a horrible goose game.

Short answer is the folks that made them run well on the Wii don't work there anymore.

So Mario in those games is a dimwitted murder machine hired by the princess, where compensation are kisses on cheeks?

Honestly I’m having a great time with Paper Mario, I’ve played the opening once or twice and I hope this time I stick to it.

Normally I find it a major chore going back and forth. But it’s perfect for handheld play, I do the optional grindy bits when I’m watching TV and then give the game full attention when I’m in a new region or in a particularly difficult fight.

Im unsure if it can be beaten with 10hp only but hey I’m trying it out.

Seconding this suggestion. Whole game has a relaxed pace that makes total sense in the setting. And the melancholy is through the roof, which is nice if you're in the mood for it.

First off, got the Split Pad Pro just because of this thread.

It's a game changer, I no longer lose the feeling in my hand after an hour. Get it!

Also Danganronpa Collector's Edition finally came and it's great to play them in bed, but drat the Switch can't even handle Danganronpa 1. Loads of sluggish animations, especially when going into the menu. Bit pathetic really! Was it like this on the Vita? Thought for sure Switch could play this 10 year old game at 60fps. That's a lol

To anyone that doesn't want to pay 50 bucks for the expansion pack, you should be banding together with seven other people to pay ten bucks each a year for the exact same benefits. The issues with Nintendo Online are a lot easier to swallow when it's less than a dollar a month.
